What is Case Memory?
Case Memory lets Judge Arnold remember your recent cases and reference them in future sessions, so your courtroom history follows you and the Judge can call back to your past performances.
What data is stored?
When Case Memory is on, we store on your device:
- Your display name - the name you enter at the start of a session.
- Brief AI-generated case summaries of your recent cases (not recordings or direct transcripts).
Where is my data stored?
Your Case Memory data is stored locally on your device (your phone or browser). It is encrypted while stored and only decrypted by the game when needed during a session. When you play, your Case Memory data is sent to our servers so Judge Arnold can reference your past cases during gameplay. This data is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers.
How long is my data kept?
Only your most recent cases are stored on your device. Data older than 5 days is deleted from your device when you next play.
Can I turn Case Memory off?
Yes. You can turn Case Memory off at any time in Settings and your data will be deleted.
Can I play without Case Memory?
Absolutely. It's optional. Judge Arnold simply won't reference past cases.
Is my data shared with third parties?
No. Case Memory data is only used by the game for Judge Arnold's responses.
What if I say something personal during a case?
Case Memory does not store what you actually say. It stores AI-generated summaries of your cases, which are designed to capture case topics rather than personal details. We also apply filters to reduce personal information in these summaries, though no filter is perfect.
Can I delete my Case Memory data?
Yes. Turn off Case Memory in Settings to delete stored data. You can also clear your browser data or uninstall the app to remove it. You can turn Case Memory back on at any time to start fresh.
